Transportation Company looking for an Operations Manager; main duties:
– Coordinate daily fleet requirements internally with all relevant departments and with clients.
– Monitor and analyze all opportunities to cut fleet costs and improve efficiencies.
– Communicate with clients to ensure all transportation needs are met.
– Ensure and implement a safety-first culture.
– Pursue new business opportunities.
Basic Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
– 10 years’ experience in logistics or relevant industry.
– Ability of developing strong, value-added partnership.
– Ability to effectively work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities.
– Ability to handle and prioritize when presented with a high volume of engagements.
– Excellent communication skills and a high bar of accuracy and detail.
– Proven track record of managing multiple priorities.
– Must independently work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
